Your Posting Schedule For The Week

Here’s your fool-proof posting schedule for the week, you’re welcome…

Feeling uninspired with content ideas… we’ve got you. We’ve done the thinking for your content ideas this week so you have no excuses to get on your content game besties! 🤳

Monday: create a tutorial

No matter what industry you’re in - this is always a go to! If you’re an MUA, film and share a quick tutorial on a makeup look you’re loving atm. If you’re a social media manager, share a tutorial on creating templates in Canva. A pilates instructor? Share a quick tutorial on an impactful pilates move.

The key with tutorials is to give your followers content they can easily learn from and recreate. There’s a reason why informative content is usually a pillar in most social media strategies!

Here @ericabellpilates shares a quick, effective video teaching her followers a pilates technique to target the obliques. You can even turn this into a multiple-part series as done here.

Tuesday: BTS content

Behind-the-scenes content feels more authentic and it also helps build trust and connection with your audience. Remember, Gen Z’s value authenticity over anything in marketing - and a whopping 76% of Gen Z use Instagram regularly - and 68% of Gen Z use TikTok regularly according to a study reported by Later Media.

Share an IG reel or a TikTok showing the behind-the-scenes of your business, a recent photo shoot, boxing an order, or even a BTS of your working day - think ‘day in the lifestyle videos. Even if you think it’s ‘boring’ - this content is so fascinating

Salad-bar @choppaluna show the BTS making custom orders in their restaurants, featuring their staff members to humanise the brand.

Here, creator and private chef @wishbonekitchen shares a BTS with timestamps of one of her days as a private chef. A great BTS idea if you’re a one-man team!

Wednesday: share some insight

Notice the same questions coming up from your followers? Use this as an opportunity to listen to your audience and share some curated insight. ‘3 tips’ format typically works well across any industry and keeps the video bite-sized and super digestible. Film a video or create a text-based carousel post for this one! You can even use TikTok’s ‘reply as video’ feature for this to directly answer a follower’s question in a video format.

@byelliebeauty utilise TikTok’s ‘reply as video’ feature, here directly replying to a question to answer a FAQ in a talking video.

These don’t have to just be talking videos! Interior designers @theinteriorfox shared tips to styling a bedside table with images and text. This can be done both as a video or as a carousel post.

Thursday: timelapse video

Record a clip of your day to us as B-roll footage for a video. You can slightly speed up the footage to create a timelapse effect and use as a background for an informative IG reel and TikTok.

Here’s a fun and creative way that @kaputtagency used the timelapse feature to show a burning candle.

Friday: meme carousel

Collate memes you’ve been loving this week and re-share then in a carousel - get your witty hat on and relate them to your business niche. Bonus points if you have brand colours, you can put them on a coloured background for a cute grid. Even more bonus points if you use a trending moment or a current photo for maximum engagement!

@girlboss do this really well! Incorporating their brand colours and levering celebrity content - a great meme for the astrology community!

Here @prettylittlemarketer have tapped into Barbie’s trend and created a meme tailored to their audience - social media managers and marketers.

Saturday: jump on a trend

Recreating a trend is an easy way to connect with your audience in a relatable way. Here fashion influencer has recreated the viral barbie outfit trend. Find a trend that works for your niche and get filming!

Fashion influencer @zonsiy_ recreated her spin on the Barbie outfit trend.

Sunday: photo dumpin’

Photo dumps are the social media equivalent of Sunday vibes. Sharing BTS shots helps humanise your brand. Whether it’s a recent event, a product launch, or even just a ‘life recently’ dump, utilise the carousel feature on IG and the photos feature on TikTok for this. Photo dumps are great for brands and creators alike and provide an insight into the BTS of the brand.

Model Ashley Graham’s photo dumps features candid behind-the-scenes content from her shoots. Bonus points if you include short clips too!
